I have been seeing lovely glass jars everywhere lately, especially on party blog sites - so why not give your glass or canister jars a chic makeover? It only needs a simple touch like twine, ribbon or labels. Not only are you recycling, you'll be feeling a bit more like Donna Hay each day :)

I did this recently with some glass jars I have my flour and sugar in. I had some tie-on labels from And The Little Dog Laughed lying around so tied them around the jars with some ribbon and labelled them so I don't get them mixed up. Now have them on the bench and not hidden in the pantry!
